Remote appointments (via telephone or Zoom) are encouraged where possible in order to minimise the turnover time of your completed documents. There's only a £20 surcharge for home appointments attended if your total spend is £85 or over, otherwise we charge £50. There is absolutely no obligation to proceed with any work at a home visit but if you decide not to go ahead we ask for the aforementioned £50 surcharge as a reasonable reimbursement for travel expenses, professional time and vehicle maintenance.
Please note that the prices listed for Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs) do not include the £92 fee which is levied by the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) for registration of each document.
When instructing on an LPA we ask for the aforementioned court fee to be paid to us separately. Following this we will send your LPAs for registration free of charge and handle the transfer of funds to the OPG for registering them on your behalf.
